Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Financial Administrator to execute post-award management for grants, contracts, and clinical trials within SPFS. You will ensure accurate financial statements, manage invoicing, cash flow, and monthly close while maintaining sponsor compliance and GAAP standards.

You will analyze financial results, prepare reports, and collaborate with program staff to support business decisions. Strong knowledge of healthcare finance and auditing is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis with ability to interpret regulations.
• Ability to resolve complex financial and compliance issues with sound judgment.
• Clinical trial/healthcare financial management and auditing background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements, including Uniform Guidance.
• Invoice processing, accounts receivable, and cash management activities.
• Month-end close and journal entries ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and ad hoc analyses for management and sponsors.
• Lead project closeout and ensure cost sharing and subawards are properly accounted for.
