Job summary

Skurnik Wines & Spirits in California seeks a motivated Spirits Specialist to support sales across on-premise and off-premise accounts from South San Francisco to San Jose, Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel. Qualifications

• 3+ years in alcohol beverage sales, hospitality, or tasting-room environments.
• Strong cocktail knowledge and passion for hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support sales representatives in promoting and selling spirits brands
• Deliver spirits samples to accounts
• Execute in-store tastings
• Schedule and lead consumer events with on- and off-premise accounts
• Participate with brand and sales managers in supplier and market work
• Assist with R&D for cocktail programs
• Provide portfolio education to sales reps and customers
• Conduct staff trainings at account locations
• Manage account relationships through regular visits and virtual communication
• Communicate messaging and priorities to sales teams
• Participate in monthly sales meetings and events
• Complete sales initiatives and incentives
• Track and report on sales activity and analyze data for decisions
