Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative in the Lansing area to partner with on-premise venues and drive sales for our portfolio of spirits. You will craft solutions for growth, lead distribution efforts, and collaborate with distributors to achieve volume goals across core brands.

You will use data analytics to spot trends, build relationships with customers, and execute programs that boost market presence while aligning with our multi-brand strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG; internships acceptable.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive sales results.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and increase market share.
• Build brands by using consumer and category trends to educate customers and drive sales.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement and execute programs for distribution, merchandising, display, and promos.
• Develop mutually valuable rapport with assigned customers.
• Coordinate communications between key customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
