Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking a Machine Operator (Spiral) in Middlesex, NC for a daylight 4x10 schedule (6 am - 4:30 pm, Mon-Thu). You will set up and operate wire winders and braiders to produce spiral wrap over PTFE tubing, ensuring tight tolerances and quality.

Training, safety, and team collaboration are emphasized. The role requires basic math, tool use, and attention to detail, with duties ranging from loading mandrels to proof testing and data recording.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year using hand and power tools.
• ITAR eligibility and U.S. person status required.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and carriers based on work orders and setup sheets.
• Set up braider and load carriers onto braiders per specifications.
• Perform quality checks on braided hose (outer diameter, tension, wire count).
• Operate winders, cranes, and overhead equipment safely and efficiently.
• Record process data and complete transactions for labor and scrap.
• Support lean, safety and continuous improvement activities.
