Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division is hiring a Machine Operator (Specialty) for daylight 4x10 shifts in Middlesex, NC. The role focuses on setting up and operating wire-winders, yarn winders and braiders to produce braid on Teflon hoses for Aerospace products.

You will be responsible for material handling, machine setup, quality checks, and basic maintenance, while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines and supporting lean and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
• ERP system experience preferred, ERP transactions experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up braiders and winders and load carriers per work order.
• Operate and maintain ultrasonic cleaner and ovens as required.
• Perform quality checks on braided hose (OD/ID, lay line) and record results.
• Move materials using hoists and follow routing and setup sheets.
• Complete labor and scrap transactions and cycle counts in the ERP system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation following 5S/TPM practices.
