Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator (Crane) for weekend night shifts in Middlesex, NC. The role involves setting up and operating braiders, wire winders and yarn winders, and using an overhead crane to move hoses.

You will perform quality checks and ensure on-time production while adhering to safety and ITAR requirements. Required is a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in manufacturing; experience with overhead cranes and ERP transactions is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• ITAR: U.S. person required; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up braider: string up carriers, load carriers onto braiders, pull wire to hook, feed hose into braider, set up layline printer and tape machine.
• Operate overhead crane to move hoses and to position material.
• Perform quality checks on braided hose including diameter and layline verification.
• Move materials and carriers based on work orders; document on process routers and perform shop data transactions.
