Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator (Spiral) - Weekend Daylight in Middlesex, NC to operate wire winders and braiders, set up tooling, and ensure quality of spiral hose products. The role runs Fri–Sun, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with a 40-hour week and potential overtime.

You will handle setup, testing, crane operations, and material movement, maintaining safety, documenting processes, and contributing to continuous improvement within a manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using hand and power tools.
• ITAR regulatory awareness and US person requirement.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and carriers based on work order and set up sheets to work station.
• Set up braider and load carriers, feed mandrel/hose into braider, and set up tape machine.
• Perform quality checks on braided hose including measurements and tolerances.
• Maintain / operate wire winders and inline tester; conduct daily equipment checks.
• Safely use overhead crane to move mandrels and hoses between departments.
• Record data on process travelers and complete computer transactions for labor and scrap.
• Support safety, lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
