Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator (Crane) - Weekend Daylight in Middlesex, NC. This role involves setting up braiders, wire winders and yarn winders, and operating the overhead crane to move hoses. You will perform quality checks and move materials per work orders.

The position pays $24.04 per hour for a 40-hour week, with a Friday–Sunday schedule from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. A high school diploma and manufacturing experience are required, with ITAR and relocation constraints noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• No immigration sponsorship; within 50‑mile radius of work location.
• ITAR: U.S. person required.

Responsibilities

• Set up braiders and wire/yarn winders and operate the overhead crane.
• Move materials according to work orders and set up work stations.
• Perform quality checks on braided hose (OD/ID, counts, lay line).
• Load/unload braider hose onto pallets; strip and set-up winders and perform daily maintenance on wire winder.
• Use overhead hoist to move spools of wire and ensure yarn meets quality standards.
• Record data on process routers and complete computer transactions as needed.
