Job summary

Life Spine is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Mountain territory, covering Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Idaho, Wyoming and South Dakota. You will identify new customers and distribution partners and support onboarding and ongoing clinical collaboration to ensure excellent outcomes.

The role requires a four-year degree and at least five years in Orthopedic (Spine) Sales Management, with strong leadership, analytical and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Bio-Engineering, bioscience, business or marketing with at least five years of experience in the Orthopedic (Spine) Sales Management disciplines.
• Proficiency with documents, journals, software packages and CRM applications; ability to manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and develop distributor agents and sales representatives within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, sales agents, customers, and key opinion leaders.
• Drive territory performance by identifying prospects, monitoring sales results, and addressing performance gaps.
• Ensure clear communication of company messaging, policies, and sales objectives through regular field engagement.
• Coordinate and support training and field activities, including hospital cases and customer education.
• Provide regular territory updates and sales plans to management.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
