Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a field-based Spine Sales Representative to cover the territory, drive orders, and represent the company with physicians and healthcare facilities. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

The role focuses on selling spine and biologics products, maintaining instrument consignments, and delivering exceptional customer support while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements listed in the job posting: high school diploma with 6+ years of relevant sales/medical experience; an associate degree with 4+ years; or a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people and work in OR settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell implantable devices to physicians, hospitals, and payors.
• Maintain consignments and loaner inventories; move loaner sets between accounts.
• Provide field service and case coverage per customer needs.
• Prepare and submit field visit reports to the District Sales Manager.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records per District Sales Manager instructions.
• Aim to meet or exceed the sales quota and overall market share in the territory.
• Travel significantly within the territory to cover hospital cases and attend meetings.
