Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient-centered speech and language rehabilitation onsite. You will evaluate and treat patients, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful communication outcomes.

Candidates must hold state licensure and CCC certification, with CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Certification as Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) per ASHA.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
