Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evaluation, planning, and delivery of speech and language rehabilitation for patients in a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will assess patient needs, develop personalized plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. A Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s with field experience; state licensure and CCC are required, CPR within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
