Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to provide patient-centered therapy across our national inpatient rehabilitation network. You will evaluate, design and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation, track progress, and adjust therapies as needed in a supportive, high‑tech environment.

Required state licensure and CCC; CPR must be obtained within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
