Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a hospital setting. You will develop and administer individualized therapy plans and monitor patient progress to improve communication abilities.

The role requires state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR (or ability to obtain within 30 days). A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant experience. On-site work with a supportive team is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensure or certification current and required by state regulations.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track, document, and report patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and support ongoing communication goals.
