Job summary

Encompass Health welcomes you to a fulfilling Speech Pathologist role designed to help patients overcome communication challenges in a supportive, nationwide inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. We require current licensure and CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree preferred (Bachelor's with field experience accepted).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
