Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evaluated, developed, and administered personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs at our nationwide network of inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

The role requires current state licensure or certification and CCC certification, with CPR certification either current or to be obtained within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
