Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in a national inpatient setting. The role emphasizes developing personalized plans, tracking progress, and adapting therapy to optimize outcomes, with a supportive team and access to advanced technology.

Qualified candidates hold state licensure, CCC, CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days), and a Master's degree is preferred though a Bachelor's with field

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.

• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
