Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized plans and work with a team to drive meaningful recovery.

The role requires licensure/CCC certification and CPR training or completion within 30 days of hire. A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education
