Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist for inpatient rehabilitation to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders. You will develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress in a supportive team environment.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire. A Master's degree is preferred, with Bachelor's accepted with related experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or pending in CCC status.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree with field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient progress, performance, and response to treatment.
