Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient rehab setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR within 30 days of hire, and typically a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories and supporting rehabilitation goals.
