Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language impairments. You will develop individualized treatment plans and document progress as part of a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation team.

The role requires state licensure, CCC eligibility, and CPR certification (or within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, with Bachelor’s acceptable with relevant experience, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
