Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. Ideal candidates hold state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR. A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC Certification (Certification of Clinical Competence)

CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
