Job summary

Develops individualized plans of care, delivers therapeutic interventions, educates patients and families, and collaborates with the care team.

The position requires a Master's in speech-language pathology and state licensure with CCC-SLP; BLS is required, with clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• SLP licensure in the state of practice and CCC-SLP certification are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing evaluations.
• Establish individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Recommend diet textures and swallowing strategies based on evaluation findings.
• Educate patients, families and staff on communication and swallowing techniques.
• Document evaluations, treatments and progress accurately.
