Job summary

Workfit Medical, LLc is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, work with patients and families, document progress, and collaborate with physicians and educators to improve communication abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities essential for patient and family interactions.
• Proficient in patient assessment and diagnostic procedures for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Familiarity with documentation, progress reporting, and collaboration with medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
• Provide therapy to improve communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills.
• Treat swallowing and feeding disorders (dysphagia).
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
