Lionstone Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Portsmouth, OH for a full-time role. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, and documenting progress in the EHR. Licensure as an SLP (CCC-SLP) is required; a master’s degree is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active SLP license; CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Provide therapy including core speech and language exercises and dysphagia strategies.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists; participate in care planning.
