LionStone Care in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, an active SLP license, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

Prior LTC or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required. The SLP will work in a multidisciplinary team, provide patient education, and document care in the EHR while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification required (CCC-SLP).
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop diagnostic reports and collaborate with physicians to determine treatment plans.
• Design & implement personalized treatment plans for aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, and cognitive-linguistic impairments.
• Provide evidence-based therapies and monitor patient progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Perform swallow evaluations and management plans, including diet modifications.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
