Job summary

LionStone Care in Shaker Heights, OH is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a healthcare setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress in the EHR, and educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and safe swallowing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certification from ASHA (CCC-SLP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and dysphagia.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor progress.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and safe swallowing.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapy professionals to coordinate care.
