Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents within approved plans of care. The role includes direct patient treatment, administering and interpreting speech tests, and collaborating with care teams to support swallow techniques and communication goals.

The position requires a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, and at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
