Job summary

Creekside Healthcare Center in California is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate residents, develop care plans, and deliver direct treatment within scope and guidelines.

You will administer tests, support residents’ swallow techniques, maintain confidentiality, and complete required forms in compliance with regulations and company policy.

Qualified applicants hold MS in SLP, CA license, and CCC; one year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
