Job summary

Almaden Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate residents, develop care plans, and provide direct treatment per plan. The role requires a California license and a Master’s in SLP, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Salary ranges from $104,000 to $135,200 annually, with a sign-on bonus and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current California license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with policy and regulations.

• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:
