Vale Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents within regulatory guidelines. The role offers a salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 per year and includes benefits and a sign-on bonus.

Qualified candidates hold a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, and certification in Clinical Competency; one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current California license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate residents and develop appropriate plan of care.
• Provide direct resident treatment per established plan of care.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Work with residents on functional swallow techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete required forms and documents per company policy and state/federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:
