Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate residents, develop plans of care, and provide direct treatment within established guidelines. The role includes administering specialized tests and facilitating dry swallow strategies, while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

Qualifications include an MS in Speech-Language Pathology, CA licensure, and Certification in Clinical Competency.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency is required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provide direct resident treatment per established plan of care.
• Administer, score, and interpret hearing and speech tests.
• Support residents with functional swallow techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete required forms and documents per company policy and regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Salary: $104,000 - $124,800 PRN/ON CALL

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
