Job summary

Palm Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palm Springs, CA to evaluate and treat residents within established plans of care. The role involves administering tests, guiding swallow therapy, and maintaining patient confidentiality in a supportive, family-like environment.

Required are a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, and likely one year of clinical experience with a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• One year clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
