Job summary

Vale Healthcare Center is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California. The position offers a competitive salary range and a sign-on bonus, with both full-time and part-time options.

Responsibilities include screening and evaluating residents, creating care plans, direct treatment, test administration and swallowing techniques, while maintaining confidentiality and compliant documentation. California licensure and Clinical Competency are required.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Education

Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology

One year of clinical experience
