Job summary

Fruitvale Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess residents, develop care plans, and deliver direct treatment in accordance with established guidelines.

The role may be full- or part-time, offering a competitive salary range of $104,000 to $135,200, plus a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• California license to practice required.
• Certification in Clinical Competency preferred.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
