Job summary

Vale Healthcare Center is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $104,000 to $124,800, with PRN/on-call responsibilities and a sign-on bonus.

The position supports professional growth and a team-based environment. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, and development of care plans, direct patient treatment, speech testing, and swallow technique coaching, while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• California license to practice Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.

Education

Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology

One year of clinical experience (preferred)

Certification in Clinical Competency

• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.

• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
