Job summary

Vale Healthcare Center seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents under established plans of care. The role requires a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure in California, and the Clinical Competency certification, with a preference for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:
