Job summary

La Crescenta Healthcare Center seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to screen, evaluate, and develop care plans for residents. You will provide direct treatment, administer speech tests, and support swallow techniques while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The position requires a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, and CCC; one year of clinical experience is preferred. Sign-on bonus may apply, and relocation assistance is offered where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• California licensure and CCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
