Job summary

Monterey Palms Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents in accordance with established plans of care. The role includes administering speech and hearing tests, and coordinating with team on swallow techniques to improve patient outcomes.

This position offers a salary range of $104,000 - $124,800 with a PRN/on-call component and a sign-on bonus. California licensure and Clinical Competency certification are required or preferred, with a

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
