Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our caring team in California. The role focuses on screening, evaluating, and treating residents in accordance with approved plans of care.

The position offers a salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 with a sign-on bonus. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and California licensure are required, with clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• California state license to practice SLP is required.
• Clinical Competency Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate residents and develop appropriate plan of care.
• Provide direct resident treatment per established care plan.
• Administer, score, and interpret hearing and speech tests.
• Support residents with functional swallow techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete required forms and documentation per policy and regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
