Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the South Bay area. You will conduct evaluations, create individualized plans, and deliver direct therapy in a collaborative setting with teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CA SLP license (or eligibility).
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

What You’ll Do:
