Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in the South Bay, CA. The role offers a strong clinical team, mentorship, and opportunities to impact student learning through collaborative care.

You will evaluate and treat diverse communication needs, develop IEP goals, and work with teachers and families to promote classroom success. Competitive pay with benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed or eligible for California SLP license.
• Experience or interest in school-based, pediatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech and language evaluations and craft individualized goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small groups) for diverse needs.
• Develop IEP goals addressing speech, language, social communication and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists and staff to support students.
• Attend IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Document progress and ensure compliance with school guidelines.
• Support AAC and assistive technology use as needed.

Job description

Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in a school setting within the south bay. Join a collaborative, clinician-led team dedicated to helping students build communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed
