GREATPLAINS in Wichita, KS is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, coordinate with families and physicians, and maintain documentation in medical records.

The role includes developing individualized treatment plans, supervising CFY or students, and providing training for staff while ensuring safety and infection control in a healthcare environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; advanced degrees preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; CE requirements.
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems such as Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents to determine therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or students when applicable.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, residents, and families.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation.
• Educate residents and families on goals and home programs.
• Ensure infection control and a safe treatment environment.
• Contribute to quality assurance and rehab program development.
