Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans. This role includes supervising CFY students and communicating progress with the health care team, families, and physicians.

The position requires licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and ongoing compliance with state CE requirements, plus proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care systems. The work involves training facility staff and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills including Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license and continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY Speech Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely documentation in compliance with policies and payers.
