Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, document services, and communicate with families and physicians. The role includes training facility staff and supervising CFY or student clinicians, with a focus on maintaining quality care and compliant documentation.

The position requires licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state, a Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology (Masters/PhD preferred), and proficiency with Net Health and Point Click

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state; maintain license in good standing.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Strong documentation and compliance with facility and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY/Students in resident care and activities.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely, accurate, compliant documentation and maintain safe treatment environment.
