Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross required; online certification not accepted.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates and determines treatment strategies for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Delivers and/or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate impairments in acute or prolonged rehab patients.

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace is opening February 2025. Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

PositionSummary:

Independently evaluates,determinestreatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services thatidentify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

MinimumQualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

DesiredQualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
