Job summary

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to independently evaluate and treat acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a new, state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities include determining treatment strategies and delivering or delegating therapeutic services to patients.

Minimum qualification includes BLS certification, with inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates and determines treatment strategies for speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.
• Delivers or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate conditions.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient-specific therapy plans.

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital opened May 2026! Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

PositionSummary:

Independently evaluates,determinestreatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services thatidentify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

MinimumQualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

DesiredQualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
