Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is building a new inpatient rehab program and will take its first patient in Oct 2026. The role involves evaluating and delivering services for speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders, with a focus on individualized treatment planning and team collaboration in an acute rehab setting.

Minimum qualifications include BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (online cert not accepted).

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict timeframe.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is desired.
• BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross required (online not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies for speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.
• Delivers and/or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate disorders.
• Collaborates with care teams in inpatient rehabilitation to support patient outcomes.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient October 2026.

PositionSummary:

Independently evaluates, determinestreatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services thatidentify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Pay:Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

MinimumQualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

DesiredQualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
