Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand-new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient in October 2026. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

The Physical Therapist will independently evaluate and determine treatment strategies, deliver and/or delegate services to prevent or remediate acute or prolonged dysfunction, and maximize the patient’s functional independence through exercise, manual therapy and evidence-based modalities.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required (online not acceptable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet strict timeframes

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, and delivers or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate physical dysfunction or pain
• Administers and oversees therapy modalities including exercise and other procedures to maximize functional independence
• Evaluates strength, motor control, joint mobility, pain, balance, posture, and functional abilities in daily living activities

PositionSummary:

Independently evaluates, determinestreatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on physical dysfunction. This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence. Evaluation involves strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait and functional abilities in activities of daily living.

Pay:Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

MinimumQualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

DesiredQualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
