Job summary

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital in Indiana is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to independently evaluate and treat acute or prolonged speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will determine treatment strategies and deliver or delegate services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualified candidates hold a State SLP license and BLS certification (in-person). Inpatient rehab experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational

• BLS certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and determine treatment strategies for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver and/or delegate speech-language pathology services to patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand new startup with 40 private patient suites and set to take its first patient October 2026.

Position Summary

Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Pay

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State Speech/Language Pathology License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
